Asante Kotoko forward, Andy Kumi Francis is on the verge of joining Bechem United on a permanent switch ahead of the 2022/23 season, per reports in the local media.
The 23 year old joined Asante Kotoko in 2021 on long term deal after an impressive spell with Unistar Academy but has really struggled to establish himself as a mainstay in the team since his arrival.
He switched to Kumasi in the middle of the 2020/21 football campaign and started on a higher note but went off in the course in what is described as poor output, having battled injuries too at some point.
According to speculations, the striker has been declared surplus by Kotoko heading into the new season and is set to join Bechem United in the ongoing transfer window on a permanent deal.
Andy Kumi, 23, was included in the Black Stars provisional man squad for 2021 AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome but was subsequently dropped from the final list.
