Despite his excellent form, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is hesitant to speculate on Eddie Nketiah’s future at the club.
Arsenal overcame Leeds United in their pursuit of a top-four finish, with the 22-year-old Ghanaian scoring two fast goals.
The win maintains the Gunners in fourth place with three games remaining, but Nketiah’s future remains uncertain with only a month left on his current contract.
“Eddie is continuing to do what he’s done all season, which is to be incredibly consistent with his performances and how little he gives away! Allow him to be himself and enjoy the moment because he well deserves it, and things will unfold gradually “After the win over Leeds United, he stated.
Nketiah has four Premier League goals in 18 appearances, all of which have come in the previous four games.
The England junior international will transfer nationalities and will compete for Ghana in the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
