BREAKING: Asante Kotoko set to terminate Thomas Pele’s contract after 5 days

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Nana Yaw Amponsah is ready to approve the termination of Koualao Dane Djomian Thomas Pele’s contract with the club.

The Cameroonian defender signed a three-year contract with the reigning Ghana Premier League winners after passing his medicals last week, August 13, 2022.

According to inside sources within the Porcupine Warriors, the versatile defender will be offloaded within the coming days due to injury and age related issues.

Pele was subjected to an MRI test which revealed he must stay-off the pitch for a year hence the need to cancel his contract.

Pele will become the latest player under Nana Yaw Amponsah to have his contract terminated.

Earlier this month, Asante Kotoko unilaterally terminated the contract of Francis Andy Kumi ahead of the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
