The Ghana Football Association has invited FC Cartagena forward Dauda Mohammed to next month’s AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.
Since arriving in Spain, the former Asante Kotoko attacker has been in spectacular form, scoring nine goals and contributing three assists in La Liga 2.
Dauda will also be in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming international friendly against Japan and Chile.
“INTERNATIONAL | Mo Dauda has been called up by Ghana’s senior team for matches against Madagascar, the Central African Republic, Japan, and Chile (the first two officials),” tweeted Cartegena.
The Anderlecht loanee has been one of Ghana’s finest scorers in Europe, and his selection is a significant boost for the Black Stars, who are eager to bolster their assault ahead of the World Cup later this year.
